The Epstein files have been “released.” Or at least a fraction of 1% of the files, and much of
those were heavily redacted. As I started my effort to review the files on the Department of
Justice’s website, a name flashed on the computer screen as it loaded. It said “Akamai.”
Akamai Technologies is an Israeli cyber company whose founder was famously the first
victim of the 9-11 attacks in an amazing coincidence. Akamai technologies is apparently
hosting the website that now houses a small fraction of the redacted Epstein files. More files
were supposed to be released, but the Trump administration suddenly stopped letting any
go without explanation.
The files contain a variety of interesting details. We now know that Epstein and Maxwell
certainly had other coconspirators, which was initially denied by some government officials.
Sarah Kellen, for instance, seems to have held just as high a position in the Epstein
conspiracy as Maxwell. Yet Kellen and others were never charged with a crime.
We now also know that Bill Clinton had an extremely close relationship with both Epstein
and Maxwell. Clinton would be pictured on several international trips with Epstein,
including Bali, the UK and indications of South Africa as well. Clinton is seen in the files
posing with a female victim and in another photograph in a hot tub with a victim.
Billionaires and elites also litter the files. These include Walter Cronkite, Donald Trump and
Richard Branson among others. Donald Trump was mostly scrubbed from what little of the
files that have been released. The administration likely let go information about Clinton as a
partisan attack, while Trump and others are every bit as guilty. Various celebrities and
political figures are pictured or mentioned. The most significant of these is former Israeli PM
Ehud Barak. In a new photograph, he is seen at a board room table with Epstein, Woody
Allen and David Blane.
The relationship with Israeli officials bolsters the claim that Epstein was a foreign agent. The
files give little indication as to where Epstein’s money suddenly appeared from. It seems
likely that it came from Les Wexner as an effort to legitimize him for relationships with
celebrities, billionaires and politicians. The files indicate that Epstein had hidden cameras in
his residences and catalogued various photographs in different CDs and hard drives. The
CDs are also pictured in the files, many redacted.
Redactions are extensive in the files. Some file sets are entirely unreadable because of these
redactions. I was also surprised by how few files there are, mere thousands. It is now claimed
that over 1 million documents related to Epstein exist. As of January of 2026, the Trump
administration seems to be signaling that it will not be releasing more. If it does, however,
they will likely be heavily redacted.
That most people involved were not prosecuted, that billionaires and celebrities run amok
interspersed with images of minors, is a testament to the degradation of this government
and society. Even if Epstein wasn’t a foreign agent, the best case scenario is that he and our
elite class are depraved degenerates for no reason other than their own perceived impunity.
We should eventually take that sense of impunity away from them.
