The Nakba in 1948 and Today

The Nakba was (is?) the depopulation campaign that led to the creation of Israel as a Jewish majority state through ethnic cleansing. The main portion of this campaign began in late 1947-1948. However, Palestinians were being driven out before this date as well. This data is not disputed by historians, but Israelis today and seemingly Americans as well attempt to whitewash these crimes.

By the end of 1948, 750,000 Palestinians would be displaced from what is now Israel and never allowed to return. Instances of massacres and terror campaigns would force the Palestinians from their homes. In April of 1948, for example, Israelis began poisoning well water in Palestinian areas with biological agents. This caused outbreaks of Typhus.

The end location for these displaced Palestinians was the Gaza strip and West bank. Many also fled to Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Many of these people believed they would someday be able to return. This was not the case.

The Nakba continues today (March 2024) in apartheid policies in the West Bank and genocidal displacement in the Gaza strip. As Israel forces Palestinians in the Gaza strip further south into Rafah, it has become clear they will never be allowed to return north. There is nothing to go back to, as infrastructure has been deliberately destroyed by the IDF in gross violation of international law. Universities, hospitals and residential areas have all been razed.

Now, the Israelis are puzzling over their final solution for Rafah. Over a million Palestinians are trapped there as Netanyahu is about to give the green light for a military assault on the enclave. Israeli suggestions for the Rafah final solution include deportation into Egypt, deportation through the so called "humanitarian seaport" the USA is helping to construct, or flat out concentration camps within the Gaza strip.

On March 21st, 2024, video evidence came out of  IDF quadcopter drones being used to execute Palestinian civilians. One incident occurred in Khan Yunis, with a quadcopter targeting 4 Palestinian men who were clearly unarmed. The initial hit murdered two of the four men. The surviving two men stumble and crawl away and are individually hit by the drone again, murdering them each. The other incident shows a social media post by an IDF soldier. 5 Palestinians walking with a horse drawn cart are targeted, killing them all instantly. The soldier remarks "too bad about the horse."

Israel currently holds over 100 Palestinian children in its prisons without charge, but demands its hostages be released from the Gaza strip. The Israeli public is so racist and tone deaf that they do not see how this doesn't add up in outsiders' minds. Long before October 7th 2023, it was Israeli policy to arrest Palestinian children and hold them indefinitely without charge in an apartheid court system.

Israeli soldiers have committed at least a dozen individual war crimes, each one itself dozens of times over since the invasion of the Gaza strip. These crimes range from looting, to razing, to murdering civilian captives by running them over with tanks. Western media refuses to report on these crimes and is actively trying to stop this information from being spread. The Zionist lobby in the USA (as of March 2024) is actively behind the push to ban TikTok. TikTok has been instrumental at exposing crimes in Gaza and media double standards. It has become so bad for the Israelis that banning the app is their go to action, as they have realized counter propaganda is not gaining traction on the platform. In fact, Israeli talking points are actively ridiculed.

If TikTok is banned for this reason it will likely not stop there. One senator has already alluded to taking the same action against Twitter. The media in the USA is already not free, especially when it comes to foreign issues. Most of the US population is blissfully unaware of just how bad this is. Social media was the way to break this cycle, at least for individuals who cared enough to look into the data. If social media is stifled and the same status quo that legacy cable news media has is applied, we will truly be in the dark.

Israel can not win, and it will not win. It will either suffer a military defeat, or even worse, a propaganda defeat. Both, however, seem possible. With the outside world outraged by what Israel has done, it will become more and more of a pariah state. The tide will shift in the USA and Israel will be left to fend for itself. Maybe not tomorrow or maybe not even in 50 years, but someday the colonial project of Israel will fail. Media is beginning to turn away, nations are turning away. All it takes is the USA to wake up and leave behind the racist baggage that is Israel and there might be peace in the middle east.
